Cains is one of the largest and oldest law firms in the Isle of Man. Its precise date of founding is not certain, but the firm claims to be over 100 years old. It reached its peak immediately prior to the global financial crisis in 2008, when it had more than 30 lawyers and a similar number of support and fiduciary staff, located in its head office in Douglas and its branch offices in London and Singapore. Prior to the crisis, the firm had increasingly departed from its traditional domestic market to concentrate on high-value capital markets work, principally the AIM listing of Indian businesses. Following a series of ''ad hoc'' redundancies in 2008 and 2009, it presently has 24 lawyers, of whom 6 are directors (partners). It is rated as tier 1 by both Legal 500〔(Legal 500 Cains' Legal 500 rating )〕 and Chambers legal directories〔(Chambers and Partners ).〕 Cains won the 2007 ''Legal Week'' award〔(The British Legal Awards 2007 ), ''Legal Week'' website.〕 and the 2008 ''Lawyer'' award for top . The firm is regulated by the Isle of Man Law Society. ==Footnotes== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Cains (law firm)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
